Ed Burke had one of the longest careers of any US Olympian, first competing in the hammer throw in 1964 and making his final appearance at the 1984 Olympics.
Bill was in the U.S. Foreign Service for 35 years. He served as the U.S. Ambassador to India, and Asst. Secretary of State for East Asia Pacific. Bill passed away in 2009.
Herb Lister served as Chairman and CEO of Allstate Insurance, one of the largest insurance companies in the world.
Bob is the COO of the Motion Picture Association of America, and has served as executive director and CEO of the Screen Actors Guild and vice-chairman of MGM.
Conrad has been presiding justice of the California Court of Appeal Sixth District since 2003. Prior to his appointment he was a Superior Court Judge for 24 years.
Al has been a successful coach in the NFL since 1983. He was the head coach of the Chargers for several years, and he has been renowned for his role as the offensive coordinator for high-powered Chiefs and Rams offenses. He is currently a consultant with the Ravens.
Pete retired as the head of the Santa Clara County Probation Department. He has served as president of SJSU’s Alumni Association and Spartan Foundation, and has been the Spartan Foundation Annual Scholarship Fund Drive’s top fundraiser for many years.
